In the evocative landscape of Côte des Bar, Chapter 2 of the Cléobuline cuvée by Julie Dufour takes shape, young vigneronne who signs natural and identity-driven Champagnes. The 2020 vintage marks a further step in her search for purity and essentiality.
This Blanc de Blancs Champagne is vinified with pure Chardonnay, without added sulfites, according to a minimal and respectful production approach. Fermentations occur with indigenous yeasts, and the wine undergoes no clarification or filtration. The cuvée is classified as Brut Nature.
Visually it presents clear, pale yellow with golden reflections. The nose opens on hints of white flowers, citrus, fresh almond and flint stone. The palate is taut, vibrant, with vertical mineral texture and a long, saline finish.
A rare bottle, which sensitively tells the talent of a young producer and the pure voice of Côte des Bar Chardonnay.
