Krug Vintage 2011 – A Courageous and Visionary Vintage
Krug 2011 is an extraordinary vintage, bold and rich in contrasts, which Maison Krug wanted to celebrate as a year of unexpected character. Contrary to expectations of a "difficult" vintage, Krug's creative vision transformed the challenge into a masterpiece: thus was born a champagne full of tension, elegance and freshness, already appreciated today as a future classic.
The blend sees Pinot Noir predominating (46%), followed by Chardonnay (35%) and Meunier (19%), offering balance and depth, with a gustatory liveliness that surprises. On the nose emerge notes of citrus, white flowers, stone fruit and light toasted hints. The palate is dynamic, tense, of great mineral purity, with a long and refined finish.
Krug 2011 is a perfect example of the Krug philosophy: transforming challenges into creative opportunities, offering a vintage that escapes conventions and defines new standards of excellence.
