Royale Réserve Non Dosée by Philipponnat comes from Pinot Noir , Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier from Grand Cru and Premier Cru of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Aÿ, Mutigny and Avenay.
The solera method with 20-30% reserve wines aged in wooden barrels provides complexity and freshness. Non-dosed champagne with 0 g/l added sugars expresses authentic terroir purity, while aging on lees for at least 36 months develops refined structure.
In the glass it presents pale gold with fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet is elegant: linden, hawthorn, vine flower, fresh citrus and exotic fruits. On the palate it is lively and taut with purity and precision, long finish with notes of warm bread and fresh apple.
